J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado (Lancaster, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting William Penn Bearcats (York, PA), 79-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, J.P. McCaskey upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Red Tornado travel to Warwick (Lititz, PA) to play the Warriors in a Lancaster-Lebanon 1 bout on Wednesday, January 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Northeastern Bobcats (Manchester, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 2. William Penn will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 64-41 non-league loss to Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA).
