August 31, 2011: Broomfield, CO 80020 The Holy Family Tigers (Broomfield, CO) softball routed the visiting Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Faith Christian (Arvada, CO). The Eagles go into the 3A Metro bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Faith Christian notched a victory over Jefferson (Edgewater, CO), 7-1, in a non-league bout.

Game Summary
Nicole Gardon pitched a complete game shutout allowing only 3 hits in 5 innings striking out 5. A scoreless game in to the 3rd inning until A.Sullivan lead off with a single, BB to Gonzales, Turney was HBP then Cartin doubled to drive in 2 runs. Gardon singled driving in 2 runs and G.Petersen singled to left for the 5th run of the inning. HF followed with 2 runs in the 4th and 3 more runs in the 5th inning to close the game out.
