Illinois High School Basketball - Oswego nudges Marmion Academy
November 24, 2010: Oswego, IL 60543 Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Marmion Academy Cadets (Aurora, IL), 75-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oswego upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers host Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL) to face the Bengals in a SouthWest Prairie game on Tuesday, November 30. The Bengals enter the game with a record of 2-0. Plainfield East won 73-41 in their recent non-league game against Bremen (Midlothian, IL)
With the defeat, Marmion Academy moves to 0-3 on the year. The Cadets host St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to face the Spartans in a Suburban Christian game on Friday, December 3. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 0-0.
