Alaska High School Basketball - Lathrop nudges Kenai Central
January 10, 2015: Fairbanks, AK 99701 Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK), 56-50 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Lathrop improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Malemutes host Barrow (Barrow, AK) to confront the Whalers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 15. The Whalers come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Barrow lost 70-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Anchorage Christian (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Kardinals confront the Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 13. Kenai Central will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
