Texas High School Football - El Paso felled by Cathedral
August 28, 2008: El Paso, TX The El Paso Tigers football team (El Paso, TX), was knocked off 28-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Cathedral Fighting Irish (El Paso, TX)
The Fighting Irish (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Clint (Clint, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Clint knocked off Jefferson (El Paso, TX), 33-29, in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fabens for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. El Paso will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-20 non-league loss to Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
