In Friday's league test, the host Foothill Cougars football team scored a decisive 55-23 triumph over the Pleasant Valley Vikings.

With the triumph, Foothill improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Enterprise (Redding, CA) to confront the Hornets in a Eastern test on Friday, October 12. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 4-2. Enterprise lost 42-41 in their recent league test against Paradise (Paradise, CA)

With the loss, Pleasant Valley drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Shasta (Redding, CA) to confront the Wolves in a Eastern test on Friday, October 12. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 4-2. Shasta won 48-44 in their recent non-league test against Lassen (Susanville, CA)
