April 7, 2011: Hoover, AL 35244 The Hoover Buccaneers tipped the visiting Thompson Warriors soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Buccaneers now hold a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pelham for a Class 6A Section 6 match on Thursday, April 14.
With the loss, Thompson drops to 3-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Patriots in a Class 6A Section 6 match on Monday, April 11. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 0-3. Hillcrest lost 4-3 in their recent league match against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)
