The Forest Hill Patriots (Jackson, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS), 59-58 in Tuesday's league test.

The Patriots (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region 6 test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Natchez got by Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS), 68-61, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Brandon will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 63-46 league win over McComb (McComb, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 22-2.
