The Girard Yellowjackets topped the host General McLane Lancers basketball team by a final score of 40-30 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Corry Beavers (Corry, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 game, on Friday, January 16. Girard will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Beavers enter the game with a 3-8 record after their 57-43 league loss to Warren (Warren, PA).
