October 1, 2011: Stuart, NE 68780 The Stuart Broncos (Stuart, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Stuart upgrades its record to 16-1 on the year. The Broncos travel to St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. The Cardinals enter the test with a record of 11-2.
The Hawks (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Mullen (Mullen, NE). The Broncos enter the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Mullen gained a win over Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE), 2-1, in a non-league test.
