Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA), 42-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central Mountain upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Clearfield (Clearfield, PA) to play the Bison in a Mountain - Nittany bout on Thursday, January 6. The Bison come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Clearfield lost 53-45 in their recent league bout against Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) in a Mountain - Nittany bout, on Thursday, January 6. Tyrone will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
