High School Basketball - Waterloo (Ontario) can't hold off La Mirada
December 27, 2010: , The La Mirada Matadores basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Waterloo (Ontario) to 42 in the Matadores non-league triumph on Monday.
The Matadores now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyside for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 28. La Mirada will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-38 non-league loss to Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-8.
The (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Poston Butte nudged Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ), 58-38, in a non-league contest.
