The Northwestern Trojans routed the host York Cougars basketball team by a final score of 61-25 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) in a AAAA Region III game, on Tuesday, January 8. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Blue Eagles enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 52-31 league win over Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC).
