October 2, 2010: Richmond, VA 23229 In Saturday's non-league game, the Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) football team smashed the visiting Episcopal Maroons (Alexandria, VA), by a score of 39-0.
The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA). The Tigers come into the VISFA Virginia Prep game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Woodberry Forest overwhelmed Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA), 41-13, in a league game.
The Maroons now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Landon for a Interstate Athletic game on Friday, October 8. Episcopal will battle a Bears team coming off a 25-16 non-league loss to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.
