Mt. Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA), 77-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Tahoma upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The T-Birds travel to Shelton (Shelton, WA) to play the High Climbers in a 4A Narrows bout on Wednesday, February 1. The High Climbers come into the bout with a record of 1-14.

Next up, the Tides play the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 4A Narrows bout, on Monday, January 30. Gig Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 56-51 league win over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA).
