Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Blue Wave clash with the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 25. Darien will attempt to advance on its 15-4 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 17-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).

With the loss, Staples drops to 19-1 on the campaign.
