October 28, 2011: Hay Springs, NE 69347 In Friday's non-league contest, the Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Arthur County Wolves (Arthur, NE) in a D2 District 11 contest, on Saturday, October 29. Hay Springs will attempt to better on its 18-9 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 6-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Stapleton/McPherson County (Stapleton, NE).
With the loss, Little Wound moves to 3-10 on the year.
