West Virginia High School Basketball - Cave Spring can't hold off Greenbrier East
December 13, 2014: Lewisburg, WV 24901 The Greenbrier East Spartans basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the visiting Cave Spring Knights to 82 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 16. Greenbrier East will battle a Warriors team coming off a 67-48 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Carroll County was nudged by Galax (Galax, VA), 59-45, in a non-league contest.
