Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ), 68-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cholla upgrades its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ) to play the Caballeros in a II Section I bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Caballeros come into the bout with a record of 4-18.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Pueblo Warriors (Tucson, AZ) in a II Section I bout, on Friday, January 27. Sahuarita will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 71-63 league loss to Nogales (Nogales, AZ).
