Ohio High School Volleyball - Black River tips Hillsdale
October 8, 2011: Sullivan, OH 44880 The Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH) volleyball nudged the visiting Hillsdale Falcons (Jeromesville, OH), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Black River betters its record to 8-9 on the year. The Pirates host Keystone (La Grange, OH) to face the Wildcats in a Patriot outing on Monday, October 10. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 9-7. Keystone lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH)
The Falcons now sport a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Norwayne for a Wayne County outing on Tuesday, October 11. Hillsdale will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Crestview (Ashland, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-8.
