The DeSoto Central Jaguars basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Hickory Flat Rebels to 64 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grenada for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29.

The Rebels (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ripley (Ripley, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Ripley was defeated by Nettleton (Nettleton, MS), 68-60, in a non-league contest.
