Louisiana High School Basketball - East Beauregard prevails Bell City
January 5, 2010: Bell City, LA 70630 East Beauregard Trojans (DeRidder, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA), 61-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Beauregard upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Trojans host Vinton (Vinton, LA) to play the Lions in a 2A District 4 bout on Friday, January 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Vinton lost 85-28 in their recent league bout against Pickering (Leesville, LA)
Next up, the Bruins play the Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA) in a B District 7 bout, on Friday, January 8. Bell City will attempt to upgrade on its 20-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 51-33 non-league win over Hackberry (Hackberry, LA).
