The Leon Lions topped the host Rickards Raiders football team by a final score of 28-7 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Leon improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL) to confront the Chargers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 0-2. Strawberry Crest lost 27-22 in their recent non-league game against Spoto (Riverview, FL)

The Raiders now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crestview for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Rickards will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 21-10 non-league loss to Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
