Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Westmont Hilltop falls to Somerset

January 7, 2013: Johnstown, PA 15905

The Somerset Eagles basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers to 70 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop McCort for a Laurel Highlands 2 contest on Friday, January 11. Somerset will meet a Crushers team coming off a 48-45 league loss to Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Crushers record now stands at 6-3.

The Hilltoppers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams enter the Laurel Highlands 2 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Richland ran past Forest Hills (Sidman, PA), 62-46, in a non-league contest.
