Texas High School Basketball - Richland prevails Northwest

Richland Rebels (North Richland Hills, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), 62-50 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Richland improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Keller (Keller, TX) to battle the Indians in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, January 11. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Keller won 48-36 in their recent league challenge against Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Texans battle the Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 11. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 61-53 league loss to Haltom (Haltom City, TX).
