Arizona High School Basketball - Kellis tops Chinle
December 13, 2013: Glendale, AZ 85305 Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ), 87-77 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kellis upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. The Pride come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Mountain Pointe won 51-48 in their recent non-league bout against Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Winslow Bulldogs (Winslow, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 17. Chinle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ).
