The Chase County Longhorns topped the host Sutherland Sailors basketball team by a final score of 54-45 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Holyoke Dragons (Holyoke, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 30. Chase County will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 5-7 record after their 56-54 league loss to Akron (Akron, CO).
