The Nevada Cubs basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Jefferson-Scranton Rams to 30 in the Cubs league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ballard for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Nevada will confront a Bombers team coming off a 69-48 league win over Perry (Perry, IA). The Bombers record now stands at 5-1.

The Rams (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Perry was defeated by Ballard (Huxley, IA), 69-48, in a league contest.
