California High School Football - Edison defeats Newport Harbor
October 23, 2009: Newport Beach, CA 92663 In Friday's league match, the visiting Edison Chargers football squad scored a good 34-6 victory over the Newport Harbor Sailors.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) in a Sunset match, on Friday, October 30. Edison will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Griffins enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 52-0 league win over Marina (Huntington Beach, CA).
The Sailors (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Barons enter the Sunset match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Fountain Valley ran past Esperanza (Anaheim, CA), 31-14, in a league match.
