Minnesota High School Basketball - Belle Plaine falls to Holy Family Catholic
January 18, 2011: Victoria, MN 55386 The Holy Family Catholic Fire basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Belle Plaine Tigers to 45 in the Fire league triumph on Tuesday.
The Fire now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Wayzata for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 20. Holy Family Catholic will play a Trojans squad coming off a 79-27 non-league win over Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-4.
Next up, the Tigers play the Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN) in a Minnesota River challenge, on Friday, January 21. Belle Plaine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 64-22 league loss to Jordan (Jordan, MN).
