In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Sacramento Dragons (Sacramento, CA), by a margin of 52-38.

The Dragons (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA). The Monarchs go into the Hayward Area outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Mt. Eden was beaten by San Leandro (San Leandro, CA), 38-36, in a league outing.
