August 28, 2009: Columbia, SC 29229 The Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC) football defeated the host Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC), 48-20 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 4. Irmo will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 25-18 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, SC).
The Blazers (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Silver Foxes enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.
