Alabama High School Basketball - Fayetteville overwhelmed by Alabama School for the Deaf
January 14, 2010: Talladega, AL 35161 The Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Fayetteville Wolves to 46 in the Silent Warriors league victory on Thursday.
The Silent Warriors now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Faith Christian for a 1A Area 8 contest on Tuesday, January 19. Alabama School for the Deaf will meet a Lions team coming off a 81-59 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Lions record now stands at 10-10.
The Wolves (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Winterboro (Alpine, AL). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Area 8 contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Winterboro was routed by Talladega County Central (Talladega, AL), 60-54, in a league contest.
