Kansas High School Basketball - Shawnee Heights can't hold off Hutchinson
January 31, 2015: Tecumseh, KS 66542 The Hutchinson Salt Hawks basketball team scored 33 points and held the host Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds to 30 in the Salt Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Salt Hawks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andover for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 3. Hutchinson will battle a Trojans team coming off a 45-30 non-league win over Derby (Derby, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 11-2.
The Thunderbirds (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Hutchinson was nudged by Orono (Long Lake, MN), 81-48, in a league contest.
