North Carolina High School Football - Ragsdale succumbs to Grimsley
September 15, 2006: Jamestown, NC 27282 Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), 33-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Whirlies now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Page for a Metro challenge on Friday, September 29. Grimsley will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 27-13 league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Ragsdale moves to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a Mid-Piedmont challenge on Friday, September 22. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Southeast Guilford won 24-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
