Maryland High School Basketball - Dunbar thwarts Poly
January 25, 2011: Baltimore, MD 21231 The Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD) basketball felled the visiting Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD), 64-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Poets (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Edmondson-Westside (Baltimore, MD). The Red Storm go into the Baltimore City Division I test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Edmondson-Westside defeated Lake Clifton (Baltimore, MD), 72-58, in a league test.
The Engineers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against City College (Baltimore, MD). The Black Knights enter the Baltimore City Division I contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, City College was defeated by Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD), 72-69, in a non-league contest.
