Arizona High School Football - Shadow Mountain beaten by Sunrise Mountain
September 16, 2005: Peoria, AZ 85382 In Friday's non-league game, the host Sunrise Mountain Mustangs football team scored a good 31-16 win over the Shadow Mountain Matadors.
The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Maryvale for a 5A Desert West game on Friday, September 23. Sunrise Mountain will meet a Panthers team coming off a 48-9 non-league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
The Matadors (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Criminals enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Yuma notched a victory over Dobson (Yuma, AZ), 61-27, in a non-league game.
