Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) and the visiting Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA), saw Steele Canyon's basketball squad hold off Buchanan by a count of 70-64.

With the victory, Steele Canyon upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Southwest (San Diego, CA) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 15. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
