Texas High School Basketball - Mineral Wells overwhelms Bridgeport
February 10, 2011: Mineral Wells, TX 76067 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX) and the visiting Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX), saw Mineral Wells's basketball squad trounce Bridgeport by a score of 74-40.
With the victory, Mineral Wells improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Decatur (Decatur, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, February 11. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 21-2. Decatur won 55-53 in their recent league challenge against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX)
Next up, the Bulls battle the Lake Worth Frogs (Lake Worth, TX) in a 3A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Bridgeport will attempt to improve on its 4-26 season record. The Frogs come into the challenge with a 22-13 record after their 59-53 league loss to Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX).
