Texas High School Football - Sterling knocked off by Memorial
October 16, 2009: Port Arthur, TX 77642 Memorial Titans (Port Arthur, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX), 63-42 in a league test.
With the triumph, Memorial improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to West Brook (Beaumont, TX) to confront the Bruins in a 5A Region III District 21 test on Friday, October 23. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 4-3. West Brook won 45-0 in their recent league test against Lee (Baytown, TX)
With the loss, Sterling drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Rangers host North Shore (Houston, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 21 test on Friday, October 23. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 5-2. North Shore won 44-6 in their recent league test against Channelview (Channelview, TX)
