The Henry County Warhawks (McDonough, GA) football defeated the host Central Chargers (Macon, GA), 35-16 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Warhawks face the Putnam County Eagles (Eatonton, GA) in a 4-AA bout, on Friday, October 2. Henry County will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 19-7 league win over Greene County (Greensboro, GA).
