The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Round Mountain Knights (Round Mountain, NV) and the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), observed Round Mountain's football squad bounce Wells by a count of 60-20.

The Knights now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandy Valley for a IV Southern (8 Man) match on Friday, September 12. Round Mountain will clash with a Sidewinders squad coming off a 46-12 non-league win over Beaver Dam (Littlefield, AZ). The Sidewinders record now stands at 2-0.

The Leopards (0-2) will now prepare for their match against McDermitt (McDermitt, NV). The Bulldogs enter the IV Northern - East (8 Man) match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, McDermitt routed Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV), 20-16, in a non-league match.
