California High School Softball - West bounces Hawthorne
March 11, 2014: Torrance, CA 90503 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the West Warriors (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA), saw West's softball squad achieve victory over Hawthorne by a count of 11-0.
The Warriors now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Port of Los Angeles for a non-league match on Friday, March 14. West will face a Polar Bears squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Hawthorne falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a non-league match on Thursday, March 13.
