The Perry Pumas tipped the host Mountain Pointe Pride basketball team by a final score of 65-63 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Pumas face the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) in a 5A East Valley game, on Tuesday, January 18. Perry will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 6-8 record after their 42-40 league loss to Westwood (Mesa, AZ).
