Bushland Falcons (Bushland, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX), 77-34 in a league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, February 9. Bushland will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 4-20 record after their 53-50 league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX).

With the defeat, River Road moves to 7-14 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX) to face the Eagles in a 2A Region I District 1 game on Tuesday, February 9. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 10-9.
