Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 13-3 in a league test.

With the win, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Trojans host Robinson (Concord, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A South Piedmont test on Tuesday, March 20. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-2. Robinson lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Concord (Concord, NC)

With the defeat, Mount Pleasant falls to 2-5 on the season. The Tigers host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to battle the Colts in a non-league test on Saturday, March 17. The Colts come into the test with a record of 2-5. West Stanly lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)
