New Jersey High School Basketball - Toms River North nips Manchester Township
December 27, 2014: Lakehurst, NJ 08733 Toms River North Mariners (Toms River, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ), 63-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Toms River North upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mariners host Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 3. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Monmouth Regional lost 81-33 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ)
Next up, the Hawks play the Manasquan Big Blue (Manasquan, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 29. Manchester Township will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Big Blue come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 62-60 non-league loss to Toms River South (Toms River, NJ).
