Oklahoma High School Basketball - Quapaw can't hold off Colcord
December 10, 2010: Colcord, OK 74338 The Colcord Hornets basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Quapaw Wildcats to 36 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Coffeyville for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 11. Colcord will meet a Lions team coming off a 74-40 non-league win over Bluejacket (Bluejacket, OK). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Riverton (Riverton, KS). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Riverton nudged Jefferson Independent Day (Joplin, MO), 39-36, in a non-league contest.
