Hidalgo Pirates (Hidalgo, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Porter Cowboys (Brownsville, TX), 10-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hidalgo upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Rowe (McAllen, TX) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, February 26. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-1. Rowe lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Alice (Alice, TX)
