North Carolina High School Basketball - Highland Tech knocked off by Draughn

The Draughn Wildcats basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Highland Tech to 23 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 30. Draughn will play a Panthers squad coming off a 62-53 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-3.

Next up, the play the Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) in a 1A Southern Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, January 6. Highland Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 63-55 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
